when playing crisis 3 I found that with VGA I can play the game under medium setting without any lag, but while using DVI-D the setting will be better at low. can anybody tell me why it is like that ?? My specification for graphics card and monitor is Radeon HD 6670 & Dell S2240M. thanks in advance....

My best guess is that you are probably lowering the resolution when you use VGA? Check your resolution settings when you switch from VGA to DVI-D. Does it go up?

I don't see how this is possible, unless as said the resolution was different.

The VGA output is simply taken from the DIGITAL output anyway. There's simply a separate DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) chip that has no affect on frame rate.

Where are you plugging the VGA and dvi in to, if the dvi is going into a port on the motherboard and the VGA is going on a port on your GPU then that maybe a reason
