Dear Tom's Hardware, My HP Envy 17t-J100 laptop came with Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit and the UEFI BIOS is "Insyde version F.43". I'm somewhat disappointed that the BIOS does NOT detect the second hard drive, let alone allow for booting from it. Also when I change to "Legacy" in the BIOS and change the boot order to internal CD-ROM first, it is necessary to press "ESC" at start up to select the boot device - even though the BIOS boot order has been changed to CD-ROM first. It is somewhat puzzling that this particular BIOS really doesn't have functionality that I have experienced over the years with the many PC's I've owned. Is there a known fix? Thanks, Lee.
