Need help setting up my fans

Hello,

I am currently doing my first build with a Bitfenix prodigy case with a front 230mm fan, two 120mm fans on the top and a 120mm exhaust fan. I have an Asus H81i-Plus Motherboard however this only has a slot for one fan. So my question is how can I work around this? I have researched it a little and it seems possible to have the fans constantly on if I plug them directly into the PSU. If I am able to do this what adaptors would I need? My PSU is a Corsair 600w Modular.
Also which fan should I put into the motherboard slot?

I would be very grateful for any help!

This is the adapter that you will need. One for each fan, and "daisy chain" them so that they all run off of one power PSU power cable. They will run at full rated RPMs and check the functioning before you decide on speed control. Normally, running fans at full speed is fine.

I like to see the top fan and the rear exhaust fan run at full speed in order to provide good air flow inside the case.

Leave the motherboard fan header alone in this instance. (If you can add a side fan and if you do, you may connect that fan to the motherboard header).

Okay thankyou! I was just looking at the fans and two of them look like they have 4 pin connectors as opposed to the other two fans which have 3 pin connectors, is this going to be a problem?

Not a problem. The adapters will work with either. Your local computer store will carry these adapters.
