Stuck on Bios Setup Page

When I power my laptop on it starts but keep stucked on Splash Screen with 2 options. "F2"or setup and "F4"for recovery. The problem starts when I try to hit one of them. BOth cases I got the message "Please wait"that keeps on this like forever.

If I hit F1 I can enter the Setup and change the boot priority for my DVD for example. I tried to format my laptop but when it restarts...guess what? The same screen.

Any help?

PS: Everything started with a "Bad Disk"message on windows but chkdsk said it was ok. Tried to change the HDD but so far the same.

When I tried to replace the HDD I aso got the same screen with the very same options and did the same thing. Formatted, tried a clean windows instalation but after windows restart...same screen again. 8-(

Guys I have an update on my question. I was able to instal windows but I need to hit F1 to make windows really start. Every time I power on my laptop it comes now with a forever black screen and when I hit F1...it starts. Anyone?

I thought about that but the date and time on bios setup it not delaying. But it is a laptop and it has the cmos battery iniside and the lithium one outside. Really don`t know.
