Looking for new gaming monitor!

I can't decide between these 2 monitors:
The 24 inch one has a faster refresh rate with only a 1ms latency and costs half that of the 27 inch, but the speakers aren't as well as the 27 inch and the 27 inch has recommended resolution of 1080p as the 27 inch has recommended 1440p.
So for gaming, what would you recommend, as 24 inch has better response but 27 inch supports higher resolutions?

ASUS PB Series PB278Q 27" 5ms (GTG)

Also if the recommended resolution is 1080p, then could it support 1440p?
I do have a very powerful graphics card so it could play 1440p on full settings so I don't want that to go to waste.

It's up to you, if you can deal with lower framerates or lower detail settings then go for the 1440p monitor, or you could go for the 1080p 144Hz monitor and enjoy ultra gameplay for years.
