Hello, I been haveing this issues since day one when I bought my monitor (about 4 month ago or so) I have a Samsung SyncMaster S24B300 and a ATI 7850 and i just downloaded the latest drivers, when I unistalled the drivers using the new utility my screen fit the whole monitor no issues but when I run the drivers the monitor keep the 1920x1080 resolution but now I keep getting those black borders this is driving me nuts now, i have 2 other monitors of 19inches each, but when i did unistall and re-install the drivers I only had the samsung plugged.

i have windows 7 64

any ideas?

Thank you

In Catalyst, adjust your GPU scaling to fit properly (Open Catalyst, select My Digital Flat Panels, select Properties, enable GPU scaling, adjust and save).

That's it.

well i did what you told me before posting here and nothing but i just noticed the option Scaling Option (Digital Flat-Panel) and put it at 0% and that fixed the issue - FYI that option wasn't available in the old version of catalyst or maybe i didn't see it, thanks for the help
