Im ibterested in purchasing a new card for around $200, I was looking at the r9 270 (MSI R9 270 GAMING 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card) I have an intel i7-2600 3.4 ghz 16 gigs of ram. I currently have a AMD Radeon HD 6450, thats not cutting it. I was wondering how long this card would last with my sytem? Im looking for a card that can handle its own for the next couple of years, preferably about 3. Can this card do that? How much power does it have with games? I have a 450w psu, is that enough?

You will need a new PSU as that card needs atleast 500w of system power and app. ~28A on 12v rail. Get a XFX pro core edition 550W for 50$ and your card might last for 3yr+(no extreme OC).

A 450W is enough if you haven't overclocked. However 550W is preferred so you don't always run your power supply near 100% load.
