600w r2 thermaltake
r7 260x msi and integrated intel hd

I just installed that power supply so I could support my new gpu, except my gpu wont even show in device manager. when i plug it into my computer the fan on the gpu spins, but I get no signal. The gpu if plugged in when my computer starts, creates a "no signal" message on my screen.

The prebuilts motherboard I am using is an aspire xc600
I kept the dvd/cd drive, motherboard, hard drive from the prebuilt.

So I really just want to know how to get my gpu to show up in my device manager/

More about : gpu device manager

Hello... 1) make sure your BiO's settings are set for both IGT/PCIe, save settings and reboot.
2) Power down and insert your video card...
3) connect your power supply to the Video card...
4) Try VGA/DVI/HDMI cables to your monitor... from your Video card.
5) Set your Monitor for that cable type/connection.
6) Try booting to each cable type till you get a Display.

If my new gpu is in my motherboard when i start my computer i get a black screen, even if my screen is plugged into the integrated gpu

And if i plug my new gpu in once I start my computer it will not show up in device manager.
(i have yet to be able to start my computer with the gpu in the motherboard and get past a black screen so I have only been ab le to insert it after I turn it on)

you should have disabled the intelHD graphics
Go to bios settings advanced chipset option- Onboard vga -off or init display first- peg

Hello.. There are buttons on your Monitor, and the correct one will open a on-screen menu and you can use the other buttons to step through your monitor setting... can be tricky and ackward to use.

The only gpu options in my BIOS is an auto select for my gpu which is grey and I cannot select it...
Neither of those options you listed are in my bios...

Ok I found that, but my problem is the device manager doesnt even register my gpu and my BIOS menu had my gpu autoselected as a default and it is grey and locked... I think that's the problem but I cant seem to chang it.

Hello... you need to contact MSI then, and/or check for the latest BIO's for your MB then.
