need a monitor for under $250 for gaming and video editing

hello
i need a gaming and a video editing monitor...im new to this, so please help....my budget is $250...i just need a good monitor with nice colours and good refresh rates and nice viewing angles...btw im using two 760s in sli

its got a 144hz refresh rate, will it work with nvidia 3d vision ?

its really beautiful but it does not have that 144hz refresh rate you were talking about

If both I would go for MX239H because VG248QE has poor colors because of TN panel.
MX239H will give you good gaming but not in 3D (3D requires 120/144Hz monitors). I have an IPS monitor with 5ms response time and it's great for gaming :)
