i recently formated my laptop, everything runs perfectly fine but out of the sudden windows 7 will not boot automatically. On system boot up i have to press F4 for it to detect the OS otherwise it keeps asking for a system drive. When i go to msconfig the BOOT tab will not display my OS also when i go to system start up settings the default OS is blank. If i try to repair the OS the only option i get is Install.

What can happened ? Couldit be AVG tune up recommended settings or whatever?

Also EasyBCD will not find any registry

Solution
I fixed it. Dunno how i missed that i went to Disk Management and right clicked on the W7 partition and marked it as active. restarted and thats it.
