Hello friends I am having some problem with my GPU that is zotac Gtx 760 reference card.
So I have been playing batman arkam origins and saw in afterburner msi that my grp temp is 87 degree ,so I was
Surprised and got worried but don't know how to solve this issue.

My specs:

Inter corei5 2500k
Intel dh67bl
4gb
500w cooler master thunder
Cooler master elite 311

I want to make you clear that my graphic cars is running through molex connector because my psu was not having
2x6 pin connector and my cabinet in general cm elite311 with average cooling fan in window ,so I want to what is the possible reason behind such hot temp thank you.

That PSU is not going to last long with that card. It's not a very good model and it is too small for that card. The reason it doesn't have 2 x 6/8 pin PCIe cables is because it is not designed for that kind of +12V load. I would consider changing to a 600W Corsair, XFX, Antec, Seasonic, FSP, just to name a few.

Nvidia states that the GTX 760 has a max temp of 97C, so you are still within safe limits. But it is warmer than I'd like it to be.

well my psu have not given me any kind of trouble while powering up or anything else ,do you think overheating can be caused by psu ?
and should changing the case will help ?

Suztera- just putting the fan to 100% will work ?

The problem with that case is it has no vent at the top of the case. As a result, heat gets trapped up there and has to be exhausted by the lone rear fan. I would at least add a front fan (120mm) to help bring in fresh air. I would suggest a side fan for the card, but the case does not have provision for one.

I doubt the poor PSU is causing the card to heat up. More likely it is the case.

Leave the side off the case until you can decide what to do. The least expensive option would be to add a front fan and see how that goes.

Another option would be to turn the PSU over so its air intake fan is inside the case. That will work like an extra case fan (at the expense of pulling warm air into the already warm PSU)

I had a client with a case like that and a similar problem; high temps and low funds. I hole sawed a 4 1/2" round hole in the top of the case, drilled 4 holes, and added a fan grill (no fan, just a grill). Problem solved.

But you'll probably be buying a new PSU before anything. That card will cook that one you have eventually.

You are one lucky fellow to have a grampa drop $450 on you just so you can spend it all on gaming components.
Your processor and gfx card are fine. There's no need to upgrade them. The motherboard is OK, but it will not do SLI. And if you buy a new MB, you will have to deal with Microsoft Windows' OEM warranty. (I'm assuming you have a OEM copy of Win7). With a different MB, Win7 will need to be activated again. And when you go to do that, there's a 50-50 chance it will catch the fact that you violated the license by trying to install OEM Win7 to a 'new computer'.

Start with a nice high air flow case. Can you shop at US retailers?

GTX 760 in SLI should net you about an 80% increase in performance over a single card...at max. But SLI brings with it other issues, like micro-stutter. It's not as bad as it used to be in years past, but it is still present if you are sensitive to it. Of course you will need at least a 750W PSU (good quality). And heat will be an issue if you don't change cases.

Might be better. You'd have a good PC for gaming and a console for when that is more convenient or practical. Plus, not all (many) PS4 games are available on PCs.
