static build solution

Hey guys

I´m about to build a brand new computer with some pretty expensive components that I don´t want to get damaged. I know that static electricity can damage my motherboard. I read that, if I touch my power supply while it´s connected to the wall but not switched on I should get grounded. However when I do this, I simply do not feel that little zap you get when you normally touch a conductive surface. How do I know if this will work, even if I get an anti static wristband I still have to connect it to my power supply. I live in Europe and my power supply is connected via 2 pin WITHOUT grounding in it if that has something to say.

The other solution is to touch my case, at the moment it stands on a wooden (sort of) table and has no touch with the floor. I still don´t feel that zap when I touch it. Do I have to put it on the ground for it to work.

And last... which solution is the best one to rely on. To touch the case or the Power supply?

Thanks in advance
