The PC that I built 7 years ago keeps giving me a Blue screen of death as windows vista loads. The PC was running fine up until 2 days ago. Now I can't even get into Window normally or via safe mode.

I receive the following BSOD info:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0X000000D1 (0X0000000000000008, 0X0000000000000002, 0X0000000000000001, 0XFFFFFFA6000E3B39B)

NDIS.SYS Address FFFFFA6000E3B39B BASE AT FFFFFA6000E03000, DATESTAMP 49E02DF4

I have tested the RAM with Memtest86+ and its OK. I have removed the boot drive and put it in another PC as the secondary drive and it doesn't seem to have any errors.

I have tried to use the Windows Vista Startup Repair to no effect.

I'm at a loss what to do next. Can anyone help me or offer suggestions? Thanks.

So far I have removed my eSata bracket, removed my sound card, disconnected my DVD RW drive and I still receive the BSOD on start-up. I have checked for DMP logs by putting my HDD in another PC as a secondary drive but the DMP files I see are over 2 years old.

I am going to try popping in another graphic card to see if that is causing the problem.

Any other suggestions? (I can't even get into Windows in Safe mode.)
