Cant fix bluescreen

Ive got a new cpu AMD FX (tm)-4170 and mother board m5a99x evo RV2.0, and basically when i turn on my pc it blue screens and sends me to the bios, but the thing is its picking up everthing on the pc (RAM, CPU, GPU all the fans) everthing is running fine and still i get this blue screen i really want some help to fix this.

Is this a new build or did you upgrade?

If you've upgraded and you didn't reinstall Windows, this could be the problem.

Double check the connections on your graphics card - pcie and power.

Try another card. Try your card in another pc.

When you upgrade your motherboard, it is recommended to reinstall windows. Most of the times by changing the motherboard, it result in blue screen.

Ok im going to reinstall windows but the thing is how can i reinstall windows without being able to get onto windows

You reinstall by booting from the installation media (whether it's a DVD or USB drive) and that's set in the BIOS. You don't need Windows to be functioning.

Easiest thing to try first is to insert whatever medium you're using to install Windows (DVD, USB drive, etc) and then shut down the computer. Turn the computer back on and as the computer is starting up, keep pressing F8 until you get to the boot menu.

if it ur mobo has integrated graphics try talking out ur gpu, maybe try using another gpu

Ok ive just tryed to do the one where you put the windows disk in then go onto the boot menu and the hit enter on the disk drive and it still done the blue screen FFS this is enoying me i hope it can be fixed

I need some help, i installed an amd 4170 4.2ghz processor into my computer, this was an upgrade from my 4100 3.6ghz one, booted up fine and then i had random restarts. I returned the bios back to its default and its booted up fine and yet to restart. My problem is though the processor is now running and 2800mhz on 124w. Whats happened!? How can i get the 4.2ghz i wanted.
