The actual H80i should work without even needing Corsair Link. Link lets you change settings, but once changed they seem to stay.

A fan showing at 0 only tends to happen when the fan is spinning very slow. I do not think the default settings will allow it to get that slow.

I also want to make sure you are monitoring the H80i fans and not a fan sensor on your board.

Programs like HWmonitor can be used to confirm your system temperatures, but will not see the H80i fan speeds. They can see the pump speed however.

I know they have had some reported software issues with Link under Windows 8, so it may be best to contact Corsair support to see if they have any suggestions. I do not have the H80i(Since I have no USB from the unit to my...
Are the fans spinning.

I know this will sound like a dumb question, but you connected the fans to the pump and not the motherboard right?

I have only tried Link under 7 and it worked fine. I currently use my board to control the fan speeds however(meaning the fans connect to my board.).

Strange. It should not actually react to cpu temps, but instead react to a sensor inside the pump itself.

I have to set a custom fan profile when I was using it to control fans because I found it was a bit aggressive(I will take a bit higher temperature for more quiet operation.).

my bad nukemaster my cpu temp. doesn't reach 0, it's my fan speed that reaches 0. Damn :( what should i do now? should i downgrade to windows 7? btw i forgot to mention that when i start to play games on my computer for like 20-30mins, my corsair link start to detect the fans speed and then the cpu temp. goes down.
