I have a 400 watt psu and im wondering if it will handle a r7 260x. Also i need to connect it through a dual molex to 6 pin pci. Will this work for the radeon r7 260x?
check the amps on the 12v rail, if the PSU has more than is required for that GPU, youll be ok. Also consider the rest of the build, tell us the whole thing.
It depends on the model of PSU. There is a big difference between a nice Corsair PSU and, say, an absolutely terrible generic one. Update with some details on the PSU, and possibly your entire part list so we can help further.
Probably not. The graphics card has a minimum system requirement of " 500 Watt Power Supply is required. 1x75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express power connector is required".

Hmm. I would definitely upgrade that Power Supply before the GPU. Diablotek is listed as a Tier 5 on the PSU Tier list. I would upgrade to a GOOD 500W power supply before doing anything
