I have a ZTE LTE Modem used in my windows 7 system and when I plug or unplug a pendrive or a usb hard drive, the modem stops being noticed by the system. The internet gets disconnected and it takes replugging the modem to reaccess the internet. It was not like this two months ago; I have no idea what could have caused this problem.

Anybody?

Solution
Sounds like it could be insufficient power through the USB bus to drive all your USB devices when they are all plugged in at the same time. There's a way to fix that:

Buy a mains-powered USB hub.

Plug your external hard drive and pen drive in to the hub, but leave your modem plugged directly in to the computer.
