Hey, I'd like to find out what the average temperatures are for the i5-3570k for both idle and under load, I have one myself, factory overclocked to about 4.7ghz I believe. When I start up my computer I immediately check Corsair Link (because I have a h100i hydro series cooler) and it says it is about 38-40 degrees Celsius, under load I get about 48-50. It seems pretty cool, I'm just worried if that's meant to be normal because of such a small temperature different or it might be Corsair link. I have a cm690 2 case and I believe I have 6 fans, 2 from the H100i, and 4 stock fans on the case, 1 at the front, 2 on the case's right side, and 1 at the back, I still haven't really opened it up yet because it was custom built before I got it so I am still not to sure what fans are intake or exhaust.

But, enough of the rambling on, if anyone could explain the temperatures of my processor that would be great, cheers. (My first forum post)

Thanks for the reply, it just seemed quite fishy that there were barely any difference between the temperatures, baring in mind this is the average temperature of my processor on Corsair Link, So I think this is all 4 cores averages put together, I'll download core temp and I'll post back when I can the individual temperatures.

That is crazy cool....I mean I have had a the Intel Stock fan on my i5 3570k since last summer...In the winter the temps got as low as 9°C on idle. Now that is is warm again it hovers between 26°C and 38°C just when browsing with chrome or IE. does not really heat up to bad when playing BF but still your Overclock Temps on Load are lower than my stock temps on Load. Did you have to go past the stock voltage?

Do you have any idea what your average CPU usage was at the time of those temp readings?

No clue, but I did the same, played some Arma 3 today and just checked via Core temp, this is on multiplayer btw, and I got 35-45% usage on all 4 cores. Multiplayer is a bit buggy right now, where frames are judged actually by the server, so you gotta crank up the graphic settings to shift the weight to your GPU for it to run faster, really strange.
