Graphics card overheating-pallit nvidia gtx 560 ti i gb

My graphics card is overheating to 80+ temps and when it reaches 80+ the fps drops and games r unplayable

Things i done to rectify the error:
Changed my Power supply unit to seasonic 620 w - No use
Roll backed my driver - seems to immediately reduce the temps to 45c but again temps shot up next day
cleaned and changed the thermal paste of my GPU - Reduced the temps to 45c after 1 hour again temp shot up
sometimes even in idle while browsing temps shot up to 85c after 30 minutes
I cant figure out whats wrong
Will changing my cooling system to Gpu solves it or some other problem Pls help

I doubt the cooler is just not good enough. It was designed to cool the card perfectly fine and did so for a long time. Either the fan itself is broken (Easily checked in a program like MSI afterburner) or the card has a thermal issue, which can happen over time.

Honestly, I would not spend $50 of a cooler to try to fix an older GPU that you can buy used for $80. I would put the money towards a new GPU.

You mention how the GPU would be normal temps for a while after you tried something but then go back to hot. You should check the fan to make sure it is spinning at the proper RPMs and that the fan profile is forcing the fan to spin faster as the card heats up. Both of these can be checked in MSI afterburner.

Hello... a simple test would be to take a cover off your case and report back your temperatures to us.
It is about summer time and i have to down clock my video cards from the winter profile i use... outside temperature directly affects our every day Electronic products.

Outside temps ONLY matter if your ambient (room) temp changes.

Its overclocked at factory to 800+
No difference when i remove my side panel
I got good air circulated cabinet with front pin holed side a 120 mm fan pushing the air inside and my psu fan directly below gpu fan sucking the heat and pushing outside

Hello... I Live in the Midwest, and we had 1 1/2 months of Zero degrees... I had some great video card Overclocks... Now we are aproaching 70 deg weather... and already my cards are showing 90 deg spikes untill i set them back some... im running my 560 at 760mhz right now and i'm only hitting 80c
Well...1) You could crank up your AC in your home to help Cooling? ( expensive )
2) Reduce your in Games Graphic settings? ( That's not Kewl Don't screw with my EYE candy!!! )
3) Or... reduce your GPU clock setting?

Hello... we experience 100 degree temperature and humidity swings... you have to learn to wear alot a clothes in the Winter time and go without clothes in the summer time... Or the gas Bills and electricity Bills will strip your savings and $$$ for new computers parts. B (

Hello... what type of fan system is on the card? True External Exhaust ( reference design) or Re-circulates the air inside your Computer?
1) it's possible your fan speed is dying?
2) it's possiible your thermal maintenance was not good?
3) or you can down clock your GPU to under 800mhz so you don't fry the card.

i am going to install ARCTIC Accelero Mono Plus VGA Cooler - nVidia & AMD, 120mm Efficient PWM Fan, SLI/CrossFire cooling system to my n560 ti card in 5 days i will see if there is any improvment.I found out there is only 2 heat pipes and very thin plate in the present cooling unit of my GPU and also one heat pipe is loose
I am guessing the problem is with the cooling unit of GPU.What is your opinion

I have done everything i defragmented, i Cleaned the card and put new high quality arctic silver 5 thermal compound,installed a new cooling system yet the graphics card is over-heating. I also kept the Pc in A/c room with 22c temp.Still no improvement the only improvement after installing the cooler unit is the fps drop has vanished but still the card overheats to 90c+ temps.
Pls help to identify and resolve the problem.
