Hello,
I'm looking into making a gaming pc but I need to know if all these parts will work together and will be compatible with each other and be able to play games such as Battlefield 3 or Crysis 3.

Specs:

CASE - Coolermaster force 500

RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws-X 4G Kit (2Gx2)

GPU - Asus GTX650-E-2GD5 2GB GTX650 PCI-E VGA Card

HDD - WD 3.5" Blue 1TB WD10EZEX SATA3 64M 7200rpm HDD

MOTHERBOARD - Gigabyte H81M-DS2

PSU - SHAW ATX12V EVO-685MAX

CPU - INTEL 06-E5200 PENTIUM DUAL-CORE SLB9T 2.50ghz/2M/800/06

I'm not sure if the CPU will work as it has a different socket to the motherboard. will this CPU still work and if not will this one work?

Is the i3-4150 a good CPU for gaming?

CPUs can only ever work if they have the exact same socket as the motherboard.

So will this one work because the motherboard's socket is an LGA1150 and the CPU's socket is also an LGA1150.

Yes.

The GPU says it need a PCI Express 3.0 socket and I think theres only a PCI Express 2.0 slot so will this GPU still work?

Yep. There will be a bit of a bottleneck with the old PCI Express 2.0 slot, however.

Will there be a big difference in perfomance when gaming or will it have nearly no difference. also what settings do you think I could play Battlefield 3, Dead Island or Crysis 3 on?

There will be no PCI bottleneck with a 650 lol. Also, 8GB of RAM is the recommended amount now. I would get an Intel Core i5-4570 for that motherboard, that one you listed is not good for games.

Right now I can only afford 4gb RAM as I'm making this a low budget build and I don't know much about low budget Intel CPUs that are good for gaming. that CPU you suggested is over my price range and I was hoping for a CPU a bit cheaper that would be good for gaming.

Does anyone know what CPU I could get for under $150 that can run games like BF3 and Crysis 3, has an LGA1150 socket and is from Intel.

Thanks but I live in Australia and I don't think I can order stuff from amazon and the store I'm getting these pc parts from used to have the Intel Core i3-4130 but is out of stock. I might just ask them when they are in stock. :)
