Im going to be upgrading my motherboard/cpu/gpu and i want to know how this will work. Do i just need to replace the parts and boot up? I've heard that ill need to reinstall windows, and in that case all i have is the windows 7 upgrade disk. What will i need to do to get everything in working order?

You will be fine keeping your current operating system. The only software that you will need to update will be the drivers for your GPU and any on-board motherboard components you use such as audio or networking. Most motherboards will come with a disc that includes the drivers so you should be on a pretty straight forward path.Best of luck to ya with the upgrades. - Sub
