Hey, I am having a really strange problem with my computer and I'm not quite sure what it is. Sometimes when I boot up my computer, the screen just goes black after the Windows loading screen. I can still hear the sounds if I type in my password and log in, but I can't see anything. I tried plugging in another monitor to see if that would help, but it doesn't. This also happens when I boot up a game, but only some of the time.
The really strange thing is, sometimes when I just unplug and plug back in the VGA cable that I am using with my second monitor, it fixes itself on both screens. Even though the first monitor is connected with an HDMI cable.
I've been trying to fix this problem for 2 days straight now and I'm concerned that the expensive graphics card I bought a couple of months ago could be at fault.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be and how to fix it?
