Hey there. So my Asus G55VW Laptop has sort of been acting up, and it has slowed way down. The startup time is ridiculous. I have run sfc /scannow and it found corrupted files but could not fix them all, and whenever I try to schedule a chkdsk and reboot it just starts up normally. I have performed a clean boot, and couldnt find the issue there. I have Avast Internet Security and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro. Both have come up clean in multiple scans. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm very worried so any help would be VERY appreciated. Thank you!

Its only about 3 years old now. I've taken very good care of it.

I would just do a fresh install, but I no longer have the disk, and my disk drive wont read disks anyways. Every i try a USB install I get a driver error because all of my ports are 3.0

Figure whether the investment in a copy of Windows is worth it.

Download and run HWINFo - Sensors and post the results. Maybe your cpu is overheating and shutting down. Got a cpu temp? Do you clean out the laptop frequently? Are you using a laptop cooler too?
