I'm heading back to college in a few months and I want a small pc to throw in my dorm that will handle some cad, basic office stuff, and occasional gaming (dayz standalone is my weakness). My current rig is my first build that I have in an overly large case with an fx6200 and an r9 270x. I don't want anything big or need anything super powerful for this new pc. I want intel for some added stability and longevity (I want 4 years from it). I was checking around and looked at the new Alienware x51 with the i3 in it for $699. Don't know if that'd be any good or if I should build my own? If I do build it will need to be a mini itx size with good components under $700 including windows 8.1. Any suggestions on builds or anything are appreciated. I don't really know where to start processor wise. Thanks
