gtx 670 sli question?

hi I have just installed my second gtx 670 and everything appears fine until I use it if evga precision x I get a multi coloured line down the left side of my screen is there anyway to get rid of this and is this okay?

No, don't. Asus GPU is rubbish. I tried it with my Asus 670, and it did NOTHING to the voltage. MSI afterburner wouldn't affect the voltage either. EVGA precision X is the only program that allows you to overcolt.

Is the line only there when you have Precision X up, or does it still stay if you have it in the background.

Is this in-game? Here's a sneaky shortcut I learnt: MSI afterburner works just fine in conjunction with EVGA precisionX: its settings should automatically mirror those you've set up in PrecisionX as they're both built off the same basic program [rivatuner]. This means that if you use MSI afterburner instead to measure GPU use and FPS (it has the ability to do this), then you should be alright. It doesn't fix the underlying problem, but it should act as a good enough workaround.
 


depends, just because you had issues with it, doesn't mean everyone else will, it works for the majority of people. If it solves your issue, it will be worth it.
