Need HELP selecting GPU

Hello,

I am new to this community but i was an old regular visitor of this site to gain much information to each and every problem i faced, but now i want to get in detailed with the issue.

I am planning to upgrade my old PC(2008) model and i want to choose a compatible GPU for my system, i would prefer a 2GB GPU. I'll attach the speccy and GPU-Z screenshots below for your referral. I have a 450W PSU.

It is stated that the memory type is DDR5, does that have any effect on my mobo since i currently have ddr2.
About the PSU, i recently mounted this as the one which came from the manufacturer was short circuited.

No, the DDR5 memory is what is used by the graphics card's processor, your motherboard's DDR2 memory is what is used by the CPU.......two different memories used by two different parts.

Concerning your new PSU, can you give a make and model as well as any additional info?
