Hi i'm new to this forum and i'm also new to computers. I've always played video games and I have recently got into PC gaming and i'm going to be building a gaming computer. Since I am new, I am not sure is this would be a decent set up.

Here are the specs i would be getting:
Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt power supply
Gigabyte Z87-HD3 Motherboard
G-Skill 8GB Ripjaws X DDR3 2133 RAM
GIGABYTE NVIDIA GTX 750Ti 2GB PCI-E Graphics Card
Intel Core i5 4670K Quad Core Retail CPU
Zalman CNPS5X Performa CPU Fan
WD 1TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive
Zalman Z9 Plus Midi Tower Case

If you could recommend any upgrades or changes to it i would be thankful. My price range is is in and around £700 give or take

Thanks in advance :)

yes that seems like a good build, as above if you could afford it id buy a better graphics card, or save up and try change it in the near future. that card really lacks a back bone.
have you looked at other cards yet.... how about looking at a hd 7870 oc version? http://www.cclonline.com/product/135949/AX7870-2GBD5-2DHV2E/OC/Graphics-Cards/PowerColor-AMD-Radeon-HD7870-2GB-OC-Graphics-Card/VGA2233/
that cards around the same price range, maybe £10/£15 more but it run games alot better and have a massive fps increase!

Yes, this is a very good idea! Your 600W PSU should have no problem supporting a HD 7870 as well.

You could be under budget by choosing the next gpu,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-r9280xgaming3g
a very good one too, about the same performance as the gtx 770.

No better cooler in this build, but you could add one later when having the money for it.

No dvd player needed?
