Hello, i've never posted here so i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place!

I'm in the process of building/upgrading my current pc and need a new 'decent' motherboard. I've currently got the Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard and the AMD FX-6300 3.7GHz Six Core Bulldozer Processor.

My problem is that the mobos PCI-E slots are too close together so I'm unable to update my gcard and have my soundcard in there at the same time without me worrying that it's eventually going to melt either of these. I'm also wanting to further add more to my pc, but due to lack of room i'm not going to be able to.

Could I please get some help on which motherboard to get. I have no budget limit either. If i've missed any required info please let me know. Thanks!

Do you have a case that can support an ATX motherboard (yours is Micro ATX)? If you don't know, post the model of the case and I'll find out.

Do you want to overclock? If you do, by how much?

Do you need SLI? Or Crossfire? If you do, what cards will you be using?

Sorry i missed information out!

My case is an X-Warrior Aerocool and i'm not too fussed about overclocking either as i'm hoping to get good enough parts to not have to overclock for anything.

In terms of SLI or Crossfire I intend to get a GTX670 or something along those lines so i shouldn't need either, should I?

Thanks again

Well since you won't need SLI and you aren't going to overclock, this board should do more than fine: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-m5a97r20
