Buying new memory

Hello everyone, I currently own Kingston HyperX Blu 2x4GB DDR3 1600mhz CL9 and I plan on upgrading my memory but I only have one RAM slot. I'm thinking of buying a Kingston HyperX Blu 1x8GB DDR3 1600mhz CL10. Will they work together as they have different CL and if not what should I do? Thanks in advance x

Only colors but your RAM might have 1.65v while that RAM which I suggested has 1.5v

LIL MS DYNAMITE :

Nothing, just write full specs of your RAM. Voltages, frequency, CAS Latency etc.
CL10 should be compatible to but your whole RAM would run at CL10.
Always better to get same sticks or even kit for dual channel, in your case just get that Kingston RAM if your RAM specs are the same as RAM that I suggested.
