I've been having this issue a lot lately, it's to do with Sapphire Trixx, where I've set my GPU clocks and custom fan profile.

Whenever I boot the PC the clocks would show (as below) and the fan would rev up to 50% before I change it manually.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

My clocks should read:
1050
1550
1168

As far as I'm aware, only Sapphire Trixx allows me to change voltages on my card, and that's really important as it means I can get lower fan speeds. Any fix would be appreciated!

change power target i found on my gigabyte 780 windforce was best way of getting lowest temps and less fps drops.

I think it was AMD's Catalyst Control center interfering with Sapphire Trixx. I've uninstalled it and it seems to be running smoothly now. MSI Afterburner doesn't seem to have any affect on this card.

When you installed AMD CCC did you use the AMD Overdrive for your gpu overclocking? That will cause an override from your Sapphire Trixx clocks since AMD CCC loads first.

I indeed use Override before.

Although now I'm facing another problem with Windows 8 logging into a black screen until I manually go out and back into the desktop for which I've made a thread in the W8 section. I don't believe Sapphire Trixx is causing the problem as it occured even when I uninstalled it.
