I have been looking to get the Kraken G10 for my Asus r9 280x DCU2 TOP. The 280x is on hte compatibility list on NZXT's website, but those are for the stock PCB's. I know that the Asus R9 280x DCU2 TOP has a costom PCB. So my question is, will it fit? Is the screw distance the same and all of that?

Thanks in advance,

Colin

PS I plan on getting heatsinks for the VRMs and stuff. Do you recommend any? I know that they should be copper.

Why do you want to do that? The DirectCUII is a good cooler, the G10 is made for stock coolers.

Yes, it's a good cooler, but why would you watercool a CPU over a heatsink? For the extra performance. Same thing for the GPU, as if your card is cooler, the drivers for both AMD and Nvidea will turn up the clock speeds. Plus better overclocking performance.

And you don't mind voiding your warranty? Also note that the DirectCUII isn't made for extreme overclocking, you'd need a ROG card for that (Matrix or otherwise) or an MSI Lightning card.

No, I don't mind voiding the warranty. Also I know that it's not made for extreme overclocking, but it's still a very solid overclocker. They reason I got it is because it was the best cooler available at the time.
