Hello there,

I need to build a pc in 3 weeks. Below are the parts i have in mind. I want to oc 4770k to 4.5 or 5 ghz.

My questions are

What memory do you recommend? I prefer corsair. Is it 1866 enough to push 4770k to 4.5 or 5 Ghz? How do you calculate ram frequency at 4.5 or 5 ghz cpu clock speed?

Can corsair obsidian 750D host Corsair Hydro Series H110?

What do you think of my motherboard choice? i will stick to Gigabye.

This is not a gaming build. I will use onboard graphic. I want fast and quiet system.

Please see the list below. I am open for suggestions.

Thank you.

What memory do you recommend? I prefer corsair. Is it 1866 enough to push 4770k to 4.5 or 5 Ghz? How do you calculate ram frequency at 4.5 or 5 ghz cpu clock speed?: The memory is up to you. I generally prefer either corsair or G.Skill. Also, the memory doesn't increase overclocking performance, just integrated graphics performance (at least on AMD, I'm not sure about Intel). If that is the case, then i would at least get 2133 MHz. Also, with Haswell, the memory controller is on the CPU, so the max frequency will go down the higher you overclok. Unfortunately, you can't have the best of both worlds. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CHs5_TdpXE&list=WL&index=7)

Can corsair obsidian 750D host Corsair Hydro Series H110?: Yes, it can...

What do you think of my motherboard choice? i will stick to Gigabye.: It looks solid, but I can't find any reviews by consumers on it, so that will be up to you. I personally yould get an Asus Maximus board, but you said you wanted to stick with Gigabyte.

Your build also looks solid, but I would really recommend getting a GPU, even if it's a r7 240, as it will make a world's difference over integrated graphics.
