My Father-in-law and I have a rental building complex way out in the country. We were able to use SkyBeam a WISP to get access to the intenet. But what we really want to do is to boost its signal so that all the rental houses and buildings around it can have WiFi as well. The building that the WISP is run into is a Log house, and the other buildings are in a circle around the log house with the furthest away being 1/2 mile. We discussed burying a cat5 to each building, but this seems a bit labor intensive. My question is there a way I can do it wirelessly? To where every tenant can have access to WiFi from the one main router? And if this is possible what equipment do I need to buy? Trying to keep the budget to around $300

Cisco Catalyst 2960 switch and Cisco WAP121 Wireless-N Access Point, as I have these at work is probably a safe bet for hardware.

Cabling, best use a professional, as any breaks in the cabling can be a bitch to iron out.

I would consult a company, as it isn't going to be cheap and you need them setup correctly.

How many cabins are you talking about? How much bandwidth are you getting from your WISP. How is the WISP signal delivered?
