Best case for dual Kraken G10 cooling solution?

Hi everyone,

I'm putting together a new gaming rig, and am trying to decide what case to use. I'm going with a i5-4690k (when it's released) attached to a Corsair H100i, and for GPU's I'm using two R9 290x's with Kraken G10 brackets, copper heatsinks for the vrm, and (probably) Corsair H60's.

Issue I'm having is I'm not sure what case to use. I'm thinking of getting the NZXT H440, but does it have 120mm fan slots that make sense for the two H60's? Another option is the Corsair 500R, with the H60's attached to the side panel, but would that require removing the included 200mm fan?

Maybe there's a better case option that I haven't considered?

Thanks!

Yes, the H440 does have plenty of fan mounts for this kind of stuff, but the H60 isn't supported by the G10 (http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/138-kraken-g10-gpu-bracket.html#). Plus the H440 has somewhat restricted airflow. I would get the Phantom 530, but I know that the design isn't for everyone.

Whoops, thanks for the heads-up on the H60. How about two Corsair H110's on a case with side support for 4 140mm fans? Is that just overkill? (I have a friend who works for Corsair who can get me discounts on stuff, so the price isn't that bad).

That is just way overkill. I would go with the H90 on that case if your going Corsair. Also, what VRM heatsinks are you using? I'm thinking about getting the also, but I can't find any good heatsinks.

Not sure yet. Newegg and Amazon have plenty of options, but I'm not sure how low the profile needs to be for compatibility with the Kraken bracket. Are you planning on using the R9 290x? It seems like a good choice used, used since a lot of miners are liquidating their data centers.

No, I'm using the 280x. It's still a very solid card that will max out anything.

I used Corsair carbide Air 540 to have 2 x H55 cooling 2 x GTX 770 cards, it's a little cubeish but it has a shorter path between front and GPU so Liquid cooler like H55 with short tubes can fit easily.

How did the build finish? I'm in the middle of water cooling my dual 290x's, I've done one and will start on the second soon, I haven't connected the usb yet, waiting for an internal usb expansion card. I'm curious with regards to the nxt monitoring software, will it be able to control multiple aio's?
Many thanks
