TL;DR - Questions at bottom of post.

Hello everyone, long time lurker, first time poster.
I've been wanting to build a PC for a long time now and finally have the money too.

I want to be able to play DayZ, CS:GO, WoW, Warframe, Titanfall comfortably

My Questions:
1) Is my build "Okay", i'm not going to have any mismatch parts am I? I've done as much research as I can to make sure i'm not but i'd like some Pro's to answer! :)

2) I have to build this bad boy on my own, is there a step by step video that I can follow on building a PC from the Case up?

3) Can my power supply be connected to a Power strip? (my wall only has 2 Prongs and the power supply is 3)

4) My ethernet cable says LAN on it, but will I still be able to connect to the internet?

Thanks so much, sorry if this is alot to chew but I plan on ordering my parts in a few weeks!

1) You really should get Windows 7 in the x64 version instead. Really you should get Windows 8/8.1 but if you must use 7 get the x64. For one thing with x32 you will be limited to a maximum of 4gig ram

Which leads me to the next question you did not list your ram. Did you forget to post it or what?

2) Yes just google it and you should come up with quite a few good tutorials.

3) Yes and it is recommended to get a good Surge Protector anyway.

4) Yes no problem.

I would recommend that you go with the LGA 1150 Haswell CPUs for better performance and upgradeability. The i5 4670K is a great CPU, and any Z87 ASUS or Gigabyte motherboard, and some ASRock boards will be great. Also get a 1TB hard drive ith a 128gb SSD for your OS and applications. You don;t need to buy thermal compound, CM gives you come in the EVO's box. I would also go with Windows 8.1 for better performance and boot times.

2) On YouTube, look up "Newegg How to build a PC". Watch all 3 videos.

3) Yes, but the PSU won't be grounded. So be careful.

4) Yep, just make sure you install the LAN drivers for your motherboard.

Here is a much better build for $1,400.

You're the man!! But quick questions:

It says the SSD is for Notebook?

I've also used pcpicker before, but since its being ordered from all different sites wont there be different shipping costs and different arrival times?

P.S. I just added everything to my cart via newegg other than the SSD and Hardrive which I have to go through Amazon with and it came out to around $1510

And it says on PC Picker ill have to remove the drive bays to fit the GPU?
