Okay, I have a wierd thing goin on here. I want to copy my sorage HDD 1tb drive to a 750 ssd. IN space used on HDD it says 298 GB used.
But when i copy the hdd to my ssd it says onlyy 181 gb on the ssd.
I've tried, copy, drag and drop and uncheck hidden files. Not it. And i've tried useng Robocopy aswell and it also says that its gonna tranfer 181 gb to ssd??

I would. The SSD and the HDD store data differently. With the HDD, if a file is smaller than the sector, the whole sector is marked used anyway. With the SSD, it only has virtual sectors. It doesn't waste space like a HDD. So the difference you are seeing is the wasted space on the HDD due to its design as opposed to the better storage design of SSDs.

No i have 1 ssd already where my os is on.
On my HDD is games and stuff like that,( Storage drive) I want to move that to a new SSD and I know you can just copy that.
It didn't quite answer my questions though?

There's probably a difference between the actual amount of data on the drive and the amount of disk space being used. If you have (example) 4KB sectors and you are storing a file that is less than 4KB, that whole 4KB will be allocated for the small file. So you may be confusing the amount of data with the amount of space it is taking up on the drive. Add to that the fact that the HDD and the SSD may have different size sectors, and the difference becomes clear.
