I will be getting an i7 3770K to go in my Rosewill Challenger case with a Z77 Extreme 4 Mobo and a GTX 760 and Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 sticks) RAM. I'm looking to get a CPU cooler and was planning on getting the 212 EVO but heard it barely fits in the case. Can anyone recommend a smaller CPU cooler that cools as well as the 212? I have about 6-7 inches of space and would like a cooler that leaves room for airflow and won't cause any problems.

The best you can get is this for low profile cooling The Noctua NH-C14.

You are welcome. And Remember that you can always take off the top fan and just use the bottom one for a very low profile on the NH-C14
