After updating Razer Synapse my mouse frequently pauses and lags. This problem makes playing most the games I play impossible. I want to install an older version but every time I download one it automatically updates. I removed Synapse all together and the mouse functioned fine but with acceleration and no DPI settings. Anyone aware of a way to restore synapse to an older version without a forced update? Is there any third party software to replace Synapse?

I have sent a request to Razer but I still haven't received a reply.

My mouse is the Death Adder 2013

Thank you.

Still no solution. Sent Razer another email and received an auto reply saying their office in Carlsbad was evacuated and closed for an undetermined amount of time due to local brush fires. Some initial research showed that some of there mice have what are called legacy drivers that don't require Synapse but they started fazing them out with the Death Adder 2013. I tried the 3.5g Death Adder legacy driver and it didn't work. The only way I was able to get the problem to stop was to uninstall Synapse, but then it sets the mouse to the generic DPI which is 10 times lower than the DPI I use. I also found an older Synapse download but it automatically updates as soon as you sign in.

I'm sorry you have the same issue but it makes me hopeful that they will fix it quickly because I would bet most people with the same mouse are having the same issue.

If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it, I've been using a 360 pad which is a nightmare.

Also if you have the mouse and are experience this please email Razer support, the more emails they receive the quicker they will patch the update.

I have a Razer Naga, Black Widow Keyboard and Nostromo but just recently starting having this issue (periodic lag in BF4)in November. It seems related to GameScannerService.exe and/or RzMaelstromVADStreamingService.exe and possibly conflicting with NAV. It doesn't seem to be internet lag but rather something disk intensive that causes the Video frame rate to freeze.

The easiest way to get around the problem is to exit out of Synapse just before launching BF4 (or any other app affected by this). My mouse performance does not seem to be affected by stopping Synapse.
