Hello! I'm going to get a new computer and deciding between 2 processors, one of them has an edge in everything except that it has DMI bus while the competitor posseses DMI2. How big is difference between bus types in gaming, rendering, compressing and other tasks?

DMI is direct media interface, it handles the stuff the south bridge used to, connectors to slow external peripherals like hard drives and PCI(not PCI-e) slots. It won't make the slightest bit of difference.
