I finished my first build, and then i installed some games, everything normal, for like a week, then when i was playing the computer just turned off, and it did a big sound, like a big crack. I think it was the PSU because it started smelling bad. Then i unplugged everything. Then the next day i plugged it in, the leds on the graphic card and the motherboard are green, but when i press the power button it doesnt turn on. Should i change the PSU?.
Graphic card: Asus Geforce GTX 760
CPU: AMD Fx-8350
Mobo: m5a97 r2.0
PSU: 600w

Solution
A loud bang/pop is usually a capacitor blowing up. Changing that PSU for one of good quality would be a good idea especially since you said the PSU started to smell.

Well if its nonbranded it may be the PSU. Upgrade it to a 550W XFX PSU / if you are not going to overclock / if you are going to then just go with 650W Seasonic PSU. If you play to SLI/CF just go for a 850W XFX/Seasonic PSU and you should have room to overclock and SLI/CF.
