I just built my first PC a few weeks ago. Everything is working great and, after a few problems with the initial setup (plugged the wrong wire into the 12V port on the motherboard, apparently a common mistake among new builders), the machine has been a dream. However, it just occurred to me last night that did not install the standoffs on the motherboard when I set it up. I know that this is important and needs to be done, but I am also wondering if the case comes with the standoffs preinstalled. I would assume that this is the case since I received less standoffs than screws I had on the motherboard. The case is a Rosewill Redbone ATX Mid Tower USB 2.0 and the motherboard is an Asus F2A85-M PRO. It seemed like there was a good amount of clearance between the case and the motherboard, but I just wanted to make sure that the standoffs I was given were only extras.
