alright so i recently builded a 1370$ pc and i tested gta iv modded today lol but it laggs :D and i got dissapointed

my specs are

GPU:GIGABYTE WINDFORCE GTX 770 4GB
CPU:AMD FX 8350 eight core black edition
PSU:LEPA 800W Something :D
RAM:VenganceLP ddr3 x2 4gb
MOTHERBOARD:ASUS M5A97 R2.0
OS:WINDOWS 7 64gb ultimate
Harddrive:Seagate Desktop HDD 2TB 7200RPM
the rest of the cash went to case and a cheap liquid cooling
i can run crysis 3 at highest setting 1080p not gta iv tho modded

Almost nothing can run GTA 4 on PC at max settings.
My rig (In signature) can only run it at medium 30FPS, but I can max games like Starcraft, Diablo, Planetside etc.

GTA is a terrible port, that is the reason, your system is not the issue here!

Okay, here are some possible causes.

1. The PSU could be a cause, but we don't know the exact model.
2. Cheap Cooling, but if Crysis 3 works fine then that shouldn't be an issue.
3. The game itself. GTA 4 is generally regarded as an awful port.
3. Mods, if they weren't installed correctly.
