Lately I have really been interested in building a pc instead of throwing money away into a laptop. I'm not very tech savvy but this is something that really interests me. I don't know if I'm making the right decisions because I have no experience in the difference of quality of different parts and brands and how to discern whether or not all the parts will actually work together, and the pitfalls of bottlenecks. So I spent a lot of time reading articles and guides , as well as posts people make here for building gaming pc's and the advice the community has given them.

[My goals were to this project were to
-Learn a lot about the actual process instead of asking for a build and not knowing why certain parts were chosen and why they are preferred( I had no idea there were so many different brands and models for every single part on a computer). And on how to shop for parts and how to upgrade my build in the future.

-Stay within a budget of 1000$ including the OS but not including Monitor , Mouse, Keyboard.

-Create a build that i can improve on as more money becomes available

-Can run games like BF4, Titanfall and GTA V on High/Ultra settings

-Something that can run quietly

You should always choose intel over amd cpus. I'm not sure if this is true but intel will benefit from faster ram speeds. The Noctua cpu cooler is great for overclocking and I think it's the highest rated most silent cooler right now. The motherboard should be good for overclocking, but your cpu won't be overclockable, your gpu will be great for overclocking since it's amd. Apevia isn't a good brand so I think the corsair 200r should be a good case in your budget range. Seasonic is one of the best psu manufaturer.
