I turned my laptop off one evening and when I came to go click on a programme, the mouse didn't move, why?
I've tried everything suggested, but it hasn't worked. What else can I do??

On many systems, when you connect a mouse, the laptop will automatically disable the touchpad. Disconnect the mouse (if attached) and restart your system. The touchpad should be available.

Usually it's FN+one of the function keys. See if there's one that looks lke the touchpad.
