Headset for both Xbox One and 360?

I currently own an older Tritton headset, but the boom mic is in the process of dying, so I'm in the market for a new pair. I own an Xbox One as well as an Xbox 360, and I'd like to find one that is compatible with both. So far, I haven't had much luck with that. I would prefer the headset to be wireless if possible. PC compatibility would also be nice, but I could definitely live without that.

The best result I've been able to find so far is the Polk Melee (which is related to their 4 Shot headset, but with 360 compatibility), but I have some concerns about it. One user on Amazon reported that the sound quality was significantly worse on the One. In addition, I thought it was wireless, but the pictures on Polk's website seem to indicate otherwise. Beyond the Polk's I haven't found any other product that advertises compatibility with both consoles.

If there is a solution that involves a headset designed for one console along with some kind of adapter to make it work with that other, that would be acceptable too, as long as it doesn't result in any loss of features/audio quality. Maybe some kind of headphones with a base station that gets audio from optical out? I'm open to any suggestions.

Well, here was my solution for anyone who may stumble across this and be interested.

I first looked at headset like the Turtle Beach XO FOUR/SEVEN. I discovered that they were 'wireless' in the sense that they only required being tethered to the controller, which was fine with me. What I hadn't realized before was that the xbox one headset adapter actually allows pumping game audio through the controller (functionality the PS4 has built-in), which is what allowed them to work. That in mind, I decided to simple use my own headphones, and add a mic into the mix for voice chat. Now my setup is:

*Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter
*V-MODA detachable boom mic
*A set of headphones with a detachable cord (in my case, the Sony MDR10-RBT)

I'll probably just keep using my old headset for the Xbox 360, although it is possible to attach this one using a few adapter cables. The V-MODA mic cable breaks out into separate stereo audio and microphone cables; one can be connected to the cable that came with my Tritton headset, and the other can be connected with a different cable that came with the Trittons to the controller (with the addition of 3.5 millimeter female-to-female adapter/headphone splitter).

I also considered some older headsets like the Tritton Primer or Warhead, or the Turtle Beach x32/42. The Warhead can connect completely wirelessly to the 360, but that means I couldn't chat with in on the One. The Primer and Turtle Beaches would work fine, and would simply require me to use the stereo headset adapter on the One for voice chat. I decided not to go with them because my solution was slightly cheaper, and allowed me to use my own headphones. My second choice would probably have been the x42's.
