Hello! I am planing on building my first gaming PC sometime this month. I have the parts picked out but before I actually buy all the parts, I would like to hear other peoples opinions on it! I plan on playing new/ up coming games on High/Medium settings such as Battlefield 4, Watchdogs, Destiny, Day Z and I would like to know if this build is good enough.

Here is the build:

You're pretty much running golden with your setup, I'm guessing you can play modern games at Ultra settings on 40-ish FPS and 50-60 with minor tweaking (such as disabling AA when running beyond 720p). You might wanna get another cooler for the case if you want to run everything at safe temps all the time though.

Excellent build. It will blow all the games at ultra at around 45 fps. I would recommend you to add $40 more and get Gigabyte R9 280X and you are good to go.

Actually, that PSU has multiple low amp 12v rails... Not ideal for gaming, though it can't be too bad if it's gold rated.
I would keep the 760 instead of the 280X, for the sake of physx and newer effects.
But aside from that you might want to choose a similar PSU with a single higher amp 12v rail instead of several low amp 12v rails.

R9 280x is powerful than GTX 760. So if you are willing to add a few more bucks, get R9 280x and a quality PSU like SeaSonic S12II 620 watt or if you want a modular one, get SeaSonic M12II 620.
