New to overclocking are these voltages and temps right?

So I know the basics to overclocking and im pretty new to it. Ive read many guides where people get 5ghz easily on their chip, the same as mine. I have the i5 3570k, the h105 cooler and asus p877vlk and it is currently running at 4.3ghz. I have not made any changes to the voltages as of yet, mainly because I dont know if I should, but it does seem pretty high on 100%load with a h105. So are these temps, voltages, etc accpetable as of now? I would also greatly appreciate any advice on how to better overclock this chip and how to manipulate voltages. Thanks

your vcore is set to high for that frequency. Are you using fixed or offset.
Try setting it to fixed for the moment and 1.2 for a test see if it still works. 1.23 if it fails

Its running on offset mode right now. I should try lowering the voltages on fixed mode is what youre saying right?

And for the temperature is it normal for temperatures to be this high with the h105 water cooling?

ur temps are fine jsut lower ur offset by abit till ur 1.25 or so

So what is the max voltages on this chip before it becomes dangerous to run above the voltages? Like 1.4 volts? Because I just find my voltages a bit to high for my oc right now

The Voltage you have won't damage it, 1.4V is fine, if the voltage is set too high, your BIOS on your motherboard does not apply it. You will be safe from damage. Though you don't have a need to go above 1.4V

To prove this to you, I Just solved a thread where their i7 3570k on Asus Z77 motherboard their voltage was set to 1.75V, that is outrageously high, but the CPU worked 100% fine and worked under full load under prime95 for as long as it was running, there will be no issue.

But with 1.75voltages on a cpu isnt it possible to cause future damage or decrease the life of the chip significantly? I have read that that is possible with high voltages but now I am unsure

can do, but by the time that does happen, your CPU would be so out of date, you would have already upgraded it.

So as long as bios allows high voltage on the cpu, I can go as high as I want with thw overclock? As long as temperature allows it to do so

not really recommended but yes. Don't go too high, the Volatge is fine but your motherboard may not like it and depending on how high, you may make your CPU unstable.

So what is too high? 1.5 voltages? I want to increase life for the cpu and i dont want it to be unstable. However I do game on this computer so as much as i can squeeze out will be great.

1.4V, stay with that and if needing to increase by [0.01V]
