Im building my pc later this year for gaming, i have a little money left over so im wondering what to get for headphones/ headset. What i mean is, should i get a strictly gaming headset with a mic included, or a nice pair of headphones ( like beyerdynamics or audio technica) with a seperate mic ( like a blue yeti or blue snowball) Anything in the 100-200 dollar range would be great! thanks

Personally, I would go with a nice pair of headphones and a nice mic. ''Gaming'' headsets generally are made with lower-quality components in their mics and pretty much everything else, and have a pretty hefty premium just for the ''gaming'' label. With that budget, you can get a really nice setup, especially if you go with the separate headphones/mic route.

I hear that Blue Snowballs are very good for their price. I'm not sure about a choice of headphones, as I'm not an audio expert and there are so many choices. Do a bit of looking around, and I'm sure that some of the users on here can give you some great recommendations.
