Must restart to use internet...?

When my hp windows 8 laptop had updated it had a small issue regarding my internet connection. Why is it every time my laptop 'sleeps' I have no more internet? I must restart to gain internet access AGAIN. What can I do to stop this???

Try this

1. Go to device manager by press windows key + R, and type in devmgmt.msc and click enter.

2. Right click on network adapter and select Properties

3. Go to Power Management tab and uncheck the box to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
