I am building my first-ever PC specifically for streaming league and dabbling with streaming some Dayz or BF3 maybe. Let's cut to the chase, here are my specs :

Case : RoseWill Challenger
PSU : RoseWill 600W 20+4 Pin Connector
CPU : i5-3570k
GPU : R9 270x by XFX (1100 base clock)
Hard Drive : Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB (7200RPM | 64MB Cache)
OEM Heatsink & Fan : CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus
SSD : Kingston HyperX 120GB Sata 3
OS : Windows 7 Professional (64Bit)
RAM : G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB(2x4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC 12800)
Motherboard : Asus P8Z77-V LGA1155 - 24Pin Main connector

Any insight would really be appreciated guys! Also, would you guys change anything specifically to decrease the price of this rig? I mean are there are any sacrafices I can make to decrease the cost of the build without impacting the system's overall performance?

Nope, compatibility wise you are all good. If I was you I would cut the SDD. The online thing an SSD really makes a drastic performance increase in is boot times. Try getting another one of the same HDD and making them into a RAID 0 configuration. This boosts performance in boot time and gaming, like an SSD.
Otherwise you're all good.

Enjoy :)

All compatible

You could go with the newer 4670k and a z97 board but that will probably add $$$$ and not a ton of performance. Unless the newer chipset has something you want

i would stick with z87 mobo

you can start from this build

new i5 4670K
Radeon 280 (without X, the price is already cut down by AMD)
